Portable Pillbox Connected to Mobile Communications Device

This is a new product in Japan, where apparently attaching dongles to cellphones is a big industry.

We like the pillbox-on-a-mobile-phone concept, if only because it duplicates a lot of the features that make these contraptions "innovative." You could program the phone's alarms to go off when a pill should be taken. Alternatively, call Grandma at 9 AM and, when she answers, tell her to unlock the vial and take the pill (or have her call you when she does...)
