SurvivalTag to Help Save Lives

Radio Frequency Identification, or RFID for short, has been a buzz word in the retail and shipping industry for a while now. Well, it looks like a company called RFID Limited is looking to make the jump from shipping to health care with its Survival Tag line of RFID equipped products. Initially they will be utilized in the police and fire departments for location purposes, but the company hopes to add vital sign monitoring capabilities in the near future. We're looking forward to the day where all of our patients come equipped with personal ECG laptops and RFID tags that are constantly monitoring their vital signs.
