I've read the list. Voters, please consider which category you're voting. Some don't deserve to be where they are. It's not because the doctor is your friend. The deserving ones don't get it.

Is the voting really going to be like Dancing for the Stars? That involves multiple sessions of voting, with each session causing the lowest vote-getter to be removed, eventually ending up with two finalists. Can't we just do a staight vote?

O-thanks for all your hard work on this thing.

Wow - thanks for the nomination. I am totally stoked! I am in fine company with the other blogs listed. I am certain to learn about some new blogs just by reading the nominees list!

Thank you, 'Roxanne' for your nomination. I only discovered by accident that I was on one of the lists last night and had to trawl through the comments list to try and find out who might have nominated me. I am flattered, but I have only just started up and there are too many outstanding blogs out there for mine to be any kind of real contender.
Quietly and humbly thanking you, anyway.

Roxanne, I don't know who you are. But I'd like to say a big thankyou.

I've only ben blogging a short while so I'm chuffed to bits.

Good luck to all the nominees.

I am a sociologist, not a medical professional. But I want to say I love JunkFoodScience's fresh perspective on obesity. So much of the incrimination evidence against fatness is based on questionable epidemology (which we sociologists have a right to critique- it is our territory too!) Good luck to all!

What is the methodology for determining who makes the list? I have seen several blogs nominated as asked, but they did not make YOUR list. Way to keep this medical blog award scientific!

    *Best New Medical Weblog

    *Best Health Policies/Ethics Weblog

    *Best Medical Weblog

If you are no longer taking 2006 nominations , then kindly nominate the Abolish the GMC Blog for your 2007 Awards.

Out of all your nominated blogs , the Abolish the GMC Blog has the highest number of profile views on blogger.com - and is also creating a massive wave of change in Medical Regulation worldwide.
