The 2005 Medical Blog Awards

Welcome to the voting phase of the 2005 Medical Weblog Awards!

Please exercise your right and vote now for your favorite weblog in the following six categories:

Best Medical Weblog

Best New Medical Weblog (established in 2005)

Best Literary Medical Weblog

Best Clinical Weblog

Best Health Policies/Ethics Weblog

Best Medical Technologies/Informatics Weblog

This year, because of so many candidates, we had to break two categories (Best Medical and Best New) into two polls each. Simply find the blog you're voting for in one of two lists, and drop in your ballot there.

Please note that the winners will be announced on Tuesday, January 17, 2006.

Additional information about the 2005 Medical Weblog Awards is available here.

Good luck and may the voting be fair!

Wouldn't it be nice if I could read before posting?

"-- Polls will be open from Tuesday, January 3, 2006 and will close at midnight on Sunday, January 15, 2005 (PST)."

First, thanks for doing an absolutely fantastic job with the MBA. Thanks! Second, does anyone else think it's odd madhu's blog chaitealatte isn't listed? She'd win literary blog hands down. Did she declined a nom? Just wondering.

Thanks for doing this. I found some good blogs to read just from the list of nominees.

What are we supposed to say? "It's an honor just to be nominated." I guess, but if the only votes I get are me, my wife, and my mom, I'm going to be crushed. :-)

Hmmm...

My self nominated blog is not appearing! I therefore abstain. (But I still read most of the above blogs.)

:)

We had some other things to take care of, and had cron jobs scheduled for midnight, and thought no one would notice. Our apologies.

one of the races was close in which a lot of votes were casted in the last few hours. keeping the polls until the publicized time may have changed the outcome.
