Sleep apnea: new solutions by SleepUP
Sleep apnea is a dangerous, under-diagnosed and under-treated disease. According to ISRAEL21c, the Israeli company SleepUp has come up with a line of gadgets designed for diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea. The devices are "smaller, lighter, and more comfortable to use" than the typical strap-on-your-face CPAP mask.
The company currently has three innovative, high tech, smart sensor equipped products (just open the extended part of the post to view), and additional products -- with reassuring names like AirThrough™ Pacifier -- coming to the market. Gadget descriptions below are taken from the firm's website.

-- The AICOT™, AIrway COllapse Treatment -- an upper mouth airway collapse treatment and monitoring of Sleep Apnea, an oral adjustable device, that the patient inserts into his mouth before sleep. The device's unique shape opens a free airway and restrains the tongue. The solution helps in treating mild and moderate cases of sleep apnea.
